DETROIT - In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Wayne State University vollyeball team will be hosting "Dig for a Cure" this weekend as part of its efforts to raise funds and awareness for research and treatment for the disease.
The Warriors will wear pink uniforms against Northern Michigan on
Friday (7:00 p.m.) and Michigan Tech on
Saturday (2:00 p.m.) at the Matthaei. The team will also be selling pink decals as part of its fundraising efforts.
Fans in attendance will have an opportunity to "serve for shirts" and collect giveaway items including mini volleyballs and team player cards. Admission and parking are free to all who attend.
