Wayne State University senior Dante Dunn (Lansing, Mich./Waverly) is fifth in the country in kickoff return average at 34.54 yards per return. He has 13 kickoff returns for 449 yards and is one of only three players in Division II with two kickoff returns for a touchdown in 2008 (along with Kelvin Rodgers of Minnesota State-Mankato, who has 22 kickoff returns; and Richard Medlin, Fayetteville State, who has 10 returns).

As a team, WSU is first nationally in kickoff return average (31.81).
