 WSU Women's Cross Country Takes 12th at NCAA ChampionshipsThe Wayne State University Women's Cross Country team competed at the Division II NCAA Championships in Slippery Rock, Pa. and finished 12th out of 24 teams. (more)  Women's Cross Country Heading To NationalsThe Wayne State University women's cross country team is making its second consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship meet and fourth as a team in the last seven years. The women are looking to improve upon a 14th place finish at last year's national championship meet. The 2008 team is very young with only one upperclassmen (Rachelle Malette) among the five returning letterwinners (the other four are sophomores).
