DETROIT - Wednesday afternoon's scheduled baseball doubleheader between Wayne State and Northwood has been postponed due to poor field conditions in Midland.

As a result, the April 2-3 series in Detroit between the Warriors and Timberwolves, originally slated to be two seven-inning games and a nine-inning game, will now consist of a pair of seven-inning doubleheaders.

Wayne State's first conference games of the season will be the home-opening weekend this Saturday and Sunday against Ashland.
