DETROIT - The Wayne State University football program hosted its annual golf outing last Friday at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Macomb.  Over 80 WSU football alums and supporters turned out for the successful event.

Following a scramble round of golf, head coach Paul Winters spoke to the crowd gathered for lunch in the clubhouse and presented several prizes following the round.

The winning foursome was Jeff Henson, Matt Carey, Erik Burton and Tom Beer.  Dr. Paul Andrews collected the skins award for his team, Jennifer Spicher took the longest drive award, and Dave Smelewski won the closest to the pin contest.
